Through the contact form we collect the data that users voluntarily enter: full name, company, email address, telephone number and message content. While browsing the site, the servers hosting it also record some technical data (such as the IP address and connection data), processed solely for security and the proper operation of the service and kept only for as long as strictly necessary for those purposes.

The site also provides a direct WhatsApp ("click to chat") link to the company’s WhatsApp number: this is simply navigation to a Meta/WhatsApp service. When clicking it, the user leaves the site and communicates directly with the controller through that channel; data exchanged on WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's terms of service and not by this site. The link does not load scripts or set cookies on this site.

A Google Maps map is available on the Contact page. By default only a static preview served from our own domain is shown: the interactive map is loaded only if the user activates it with a click. Until then, no data is sent to Google. When the map is activated, Google LLC may set its own cookies and process data (including the IP address) under its own privacy policy; the "Open in Google Maps" button is simply an external link.

• Respond to contact requests and provide quotations or information about the services — legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Ensure the operation and security of the site — legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
• Compliance with legal, tax and accounting obligations (Article 6.1.c GDPR).

Providing the data marked as mandatory in the contact form is necessary to respond to the request; failure to provide it makes a response impossible. Other data is optional.

Data may be processed, on behalf of and under the instructions of the controller, by technical service providers appointed as processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR: in particular the site's hosting provider and Resend, the service used to deliver contact-form submissions by email. These providers process the data on infrastructure located in the European Union. Data is not made public or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. The site does not transfer data to countries outside the EU; the only exception is the user-initiated activation of the Google map on the Contact page, described in section 2.

Data collected through the contact form is retained for the time necessary to manage the request and, if a business relationship begins, for its duration and the subsequent statutory periods (generally 10 years for tax documentation). Data relating to enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship is kept for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, unless it is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

The site uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and security. It also uses Lovable's built-in analytics to collect aggregated statistics about visits, pages viewed, devices used, traffic sources and visit duration. The service is not used to create individual profiles or to track users across different websites. The data is processed by Lovable on infrastructure located in the European Union.

Analytics is used exclusively to understand how the site performs and improve its operation; it is not used for advertising or profiling. Because it is used for aggregated statistical purposes, the site does not display an analytics consent banner. The only third-party content loaded on request remains the Google map on the Contact page.

Users can manage or delete cookies at any time through their browser settings.

Data subjects may exercise at any time the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent. Requests should be sent to scaligera.manutenzioni@gmail.com. A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
